In Space Invaders, the player defends Earth from invading alien forces. As aliens slowly move closer and closer to the player’s ship, they player shoots them down before they reach the ground. The player can take cover behind shields, but they will eventually be destroyed by the aliens’ shots. The game becomes increasingly difficult as more and more aliens appear and their movements become more erratic. The objective of the game is to earn as many points as possible by destroying the aliens and advancing to higher levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
